Jean C. Oi教授是斯坦福大學中國項目主任兼北京大學斯坦福中心主任，是中國經濟改革問題研究專家，代表作Fiscal reform and the economic foundations of local state corporatism in China在國際期刊上有1270被引用，專著Rural China takes off: Institutional foundations of economic reform有949次被引用。其研究成果有着廣泛的學術影響力。
