主講嘉賓簡介

Somayeh Sadat博士曾任職多倫多大學健康工程研究中心，現為Tarbiat Modares University副教授，研究方向為健康醫療管理、大數據信息挖掘等；其研究主要是基于大數據和工業工程的思想與方法對健康醫療管理等問題展開探究。研究成果主要發表在健康醫療管理領域頂級期刊 Health Care Management Science、Healthcare Quarterly上， 共發表本領域論文30餘篇，出版專著2部，并擔任多個期刊的編委和審稿人。

講座摘要：

Health institutions around the globe have implemented IT solutions to support various organizational functions. An intentional or a by-product of these solutions is vast amounts of health system data that shed light on demand drivers and supply of various health services over time. There is now an opportunity to leverage collected data and perform end-to-end big data analytics to inform decisions around improving health system performance at the strategic level. In this talk, real examples of developed evidence-based tools that informed strategic capacity planning decisions in orthopedic, renal and cancer care are presented.
